Ice cream sandwiches

Today I was inspired by a friend (Ashlee:-)) to try something new. I made ice cream sandwiches! So here is how it went....

Ice Cream Sandwich

1 pkt chocolate chip pancake
1 pkt peanut butter ice cream

I made both according to the package, so nothing complicated.

I used my pizelle (thin waffle cookie) maker and made waffle cookies

Then I whipped up the soft serve and added it to the cookies. I broke them in halfs so I could have two seperate meals, but you could just make one big one.

I lost some of my pancake because I didn't spray the maker the second time, so I will be much more careful next time. I think I could actually get 4 cookies out of this, and there was plenty of soft serve ( I just ate the remainder:-)



I've thrown them in the freezer to eat as dessert later. I ate the extra broken cookie so I know it was yummy, I am excited to pull these out tonight!!
