All right, I know I said I wasn't going to, but I decided to change diets anyway. I just was getting to the point where I was driving by fast food places, and really needing to talk myself out of it. That's one resolution I intend to keep. NO FAST FOOD!! Well, I did go off plan around Thursday, and while I was not out of control, I did have things I shouldn't have. Oh well, by gones.

I decided to try the South Beach Diet. It is also strict, but you have a more balanced diet (grains and such) after the first phase. I had great success with Medifast in the past, but I just wasn't getting anywhere, I'm not sure why. I'm certain if I stuck it out, I would have balanced and lost, but I wasn't handling the stall very well, and was sensing danger of losing all resolve. So, South Beach it is for now. I will start tomorrow, with today's weigh in. It's too late today to catch up to all the meals. Anyway, I will plan my meals out, and go shop this evening. So, bring on the two weeks of Hell. Eh hem, I mean, bring on all the extra foods I wasn't previously getting..... Okay, I hope there is not too much flexibility in this plan for me. I am going to stay strict though. Weigh stuff, start with the minimums, that sort of thing.

I also pledge to get back to my 30 minutes a day of exercise as of tomorrow. I had to stop because I wasn't getting enough calories, but I was extremely dissatisfied. I REALLY want the elliptical at Costco, so if anyone out there feels inclined to be magnanimous.... Yeah, I know.... I may actually have enough saved up, but I have decided to send the darling (spoiled) daughter to a summer camp for her sport, and that is going to run me an arm and a leg. I'd sell my first born, but that would kinda defeat the purpose:-)
